Activities:

Second Session: Visit Army camp

  • Experience a firsthand look into the life of South Korean infantry division guarding the up-front DMZ.

  • Join us on an exclusive security tour that takes you from the military base gate to an observation post overlooking North Korea.

  • Travel in a military escort vehicle and receive a briefing from an active-duty military officer on the current situation in the DMZ and surrounding border areas. (Your guide will be available for language support if needed.)

  • After the briefing, use high-powered telescopes to observe North Korean guard posts and villages across the border

First Session: DMZ Gondola

  • Journey through Military Secured Zone aboard the Paju Imjingak Peace Gondola, a state-of-the-art cable car system engineered by the renowned Austrian company Doppelmayr. Experience the thrill of gliding over the Imjin River and take in breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

  • Explore the rich history of the DMZ at the Imjingak Peace Observatory and Gallery Greaves, a repurposed former U.S. military camp. Witness firsthand artifacts from the Korean War, including an original copy of the Armistice Agreement, preserved in the bowling alley that once served American troops.

  • Per military base regulations, advance reservations must be made at least one week before your visit.
    In terms of that, please understand that ALL your personal information should be required when the visit application form is prepared after your booking.

  • Due to unforeseen circumstances related to a military base emergency, your scheduled visit may need to be adjusted. In such cases, we will offer an alternative tour.
